The End of Days

And so it all ends-
So unlike the way it began.

Vivid in our memories are the days gone by…
With misery we realize that they’ll never again return.
Oh lady fortune, why had you to make this so short?

The helix of existence passed before our eyes,
We never even had time to peruse and realize
The fragrance and portrayals of life’s impromptu offerings;
Transpiring our time in arduous works, our Dame,
We gave up our subsistence screening all complaints;
Yet now at the end of the road,
We ardently look for a way get back those days for a second time……
